Tim Solinger, CPRW
Following a 20+ year career in marketing, publishing, education and university advancement, Tim Solinger founded Great Impressions Resume Service in July 2007. Tim's sincere interest in helping people achieve their career goals and his lifelong love of resume writing inspired him to launch this enterprise.
Earlier in his career, Tim's resume writing was focused on helping professionals and managers update and strengthen their resumes as a part of new business presentations and project bid proposals. Now with the launching of Great Impressions Resume Service, Tim is making his services available to anyone interested in creating a resume or improving an existing one, from entry level workers to executives.
In providing his services to clients and as a certified resume writer, Tim blends first-rate resume writing skills with an in-depth understanding of personal branding techniques. His goal is to apply his expertise and knowledge to help accelerate clients' ability to secure quality interview opportunities and receive job offers.
When it comes to resume preparation, Tim's philosophy is a simple one: Each client has a unique set of skills, experiences and qualifications and deserves a personally branded resume that reflects this uniqueness. In addition, Tim is committed to 100% client satisfaction, and he strives at all times to meet and exceed client expectations.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has a B.A. degree in English. He is also a certified secondary school language arts teacher and has taught writing at both the high school level and in a university adult education program.
In addition to writing resumes and offering related job search services, Tim provides writing and coaching assistance to business clients in such areas as brand development, advertising, direct response marketing and publicity.
Tim holds the certified professional resume writer credential (CPRW) from the Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches, and he is a member of the Career Management Alliance. His other affiliations include the American Marketing Association, the Public Relations Society of America and the Portage County Business Council.
