Dear Friend,
If you are a visitor or are considering investing in a new resume or other services, thank you for your interest! I would like to share a few thoughts on my business philosophy and how I operate.
Mission
As owner of Great Impressions Resume & Career Services, my mission is to do good in the world by helping clients achieve their career goals. Sometimes this happens by creating brand new, transformative resumes for clients that help them define a new direction or career path. At other times, it happens by helping them with more incremental improvements to their job search documents. Whichever approach or service is provided, I work with clients in a highly personalized way, equipping them with high-impact, value-projecting resumes and other documents that demonstrate value by fully communicating their unique combination of skills, experiences and aspirations.
As part of this mission, I also believe in doing good by giving back. While I charge fees for the expertise I provide in creating resumes and providing other services, I believe that knowledge is meant to be shared, and I appreciate opportunities to share mine through free resume seminars and consultations. Whether serving clients in a fee-based arrangement or for free, I believe there are few pursuits more satisfactory than helping people articulate their unique strengths, experiences and career goals and communicating these in a distinctive way to potential employers.
Values
Honesty. I quote a single, flat fee for most projects, or an hourly rate for some projects that are difficult to quantify. Either way, I give you a number and stand behind it, plain and simple.
Quality. I understand the importance of having a resume and other documents that represent you well and that enable you to fully compete in the job market. For this reason, I am not satisfied with any document that I create for you until you are. Ultimately, though, when it comes to quality “the proof is in the pudding.” I invite you to read the testimonials of clients who have used my services in the past.
Timeliness. I know that pursuing jobs is inherently time sensitive, and for this reason I strive to complete each client project within the time frame originally specified.
Respect. Because I greatly value the opinions and wishes of my clients, I will work with you and listen to you each step of the way to ensure your complete satisfaction with the documents that I create for you, or with other services that I provide for you.
Professionalism. The information you share with me is held in the strictest confidence. I will never disclose personal information or work-related or other background details with anyone.
